Despite of its name, Commandline ACE contains full fledged Norton Commander-like interface and can be run both in commandline and fullscreen mode. UnACE can be run only in commandline mode. Commandline ACE can be too used for file manipulation, similar to that in Norton Commander. Newest and final Commandline ACE was released in version 2.04, and since 2001 year it has not been updated in DOS flavor. Instead of further expanding DOS version, Windows version, WinACE was introduced.
