Changsha WES Academy is an international primary school in Changsha, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China.

Changsha WES Academy (CWA) is the first English-speaking international school located in the vicinity of Changsha City.

CWA was established by the Changsha Economic and Technical Development Zone Administrative Council (CETZAC) in co-operation with China-Singapore SIP International Education Services Co. Ltd. (CSIES), to specially cater for the children of expatriate families.

Founded in August 2009, it will open its doors in September 2010 to provide, initially, education for children from Year One (age 6) to Year Four (age 9).

Curriculum

The school follows an inquiry based curriculum and is aiming to seek accreditation from the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and the Council of International Schools (CIS).

Facilities
