Some are notable for other reasons, in which case all aspects of their lives should be included in their articles. Although not the primary focus of this project, cases where the advanced age is in doubt should be considered for notability using the same criteria as the cases when the advanced age has been verified by an independent body, e.g., Old Tom Parr is notable. Supercentenarians over 110 should also be included in list articles (line-item notability), whether or not they have a separate biography due to notability.

- The journal Rejuvenation Research should be attributed and contextualized, especially when quoting another source listed below.
- Gerontology Research Group data from grg.org should be attributed and used only as backup to reliable sources.
- Data from the dynamic page recordholders.org/en/list/oldest.html ("Oldest Human Beings") should be used similarly to GRG data.
- The Yahoo! group health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Worlds_Oldest_People, like other discussion groups, is deprecated in favor of using any reliable sources it quotes. However, if Yahoo! WOP data is quoted on article talk to satisfy verifiability and if a reliable source on the same point is unavailable, limited use that conforms with other Misplaced Pages policies is permissible.
