Re: Your edit at WP:RFPP

The relevant policy is WP:Protection policy. I feel I should point out, however, that what is on that page should at best be taken as a rough guideline - not too many cases are so cut and dried as to guarantee a specific protection level, and most times it ultimately comes down to the protecting administrator's discretion. —Jeremy 08:51, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

The article in question is the unsourced additions to 2011 IndyCar Series season. I saw your post at WP:MOTOR and I wasn't convinced that ordinary reverting wouldn't be enough (at least at the time that you posted the comment). Some of the anon edits appear to be helpful. If the ratio of bad edits to good edits become too awful then this decision should be revisited. Or if the problems continue to the point of being real disruptive. Keep me informed on my talk page. I see a lot of activity in the past few days which is concerning. Royalbroil 04:12, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

ANI

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. The Arbiter 00:23, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

... Our comments are not at all irrelevant. If you read the original post at the start of the thread, you would see that in reality, it is your comments which are; the thread is not about whether you were right or wrong to nominate an article to AfD, but that you were accusing others of attacking you when no such attacking was taking place. As you refuse to acknowledge this ongoing issue with your behavior, this horse is not yet dead.— dαlus 11:33, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
No, Arbiter's original post has, at best, a tenuous connection to reality. I haven't bothered giving my side of the story as the whole thing's gotten ridiculously out of hand due to his escalations, but it's all there in the previous discussions. I'm sure you could find it if you looked.
I've said I won't pursue this as long as the other editors leave me alone, so your attempt to drag me back in is borderline harassment. Kuguar03 (talk) 19:15, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
That again has a very specific definition on wikipedia; telling you our posts were not irrelevant is nothing like harassment. You said you won't continue this further, but your attacks have yet to cease.— dαlus 21:20, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
You're the one who's keeping this alive. I have no idea what sort of outcome you're hoping for here. Time to Drop the stick and back slowly away from the horse carcass. If you have a problem with my interpretations of wikipedia policies and guidelines, a more constructive approach might be to propose changes to those policies. Just some friendly advice. I told you quite clearly; stop calling critiques attacks, and messages harassment when they are clearly not; also, your suggestion is anything but constructive; I am not going to ask a change of an already quite clear policy because you misunderstand it. If you continue claim others are attacking and harassing where no such action is taking place, I will start a report on you.— dαlus 22:03, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
