In June 2006 YapBrowser was acquired by UK search engine SearchWebMe. SearchWebMe released a press release on 12 June 2006. "We are well aware of Yapbrowser's application history but this is all in the past. This is why we are pleased YapBrowser has decided to partner with us, SearchWebMe.
