There are nine national parks in Slovakia (besides many other kinds of natural protection areas and reserves):
- Greater Fatra (Veľká Fatra)
- Lesser Fatra (Malá Fatra)
- Low Tatras (Nízke Tatry)

- Pieniny Mountains
- Poloniny Mountains
- Slovak Karst (Slovenský kras)
