Khamis Muammar al-Gaddafi (Template:Lang-ar). He is one of the sons of Muammar al-Gaddafi, leader of Libya.

Education and career

He graduated from the military academy in Tripoli and received a bachelor’s degree in military arts and science, then graduated from Frunze Military Academy in Moscow and Academy of the General Staff Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Since April 2010 he is studying a masters degree in IE Business School (formerly known as Instituto de Empresa) in Madrid.

Role in 2011 Libya popular uprising

He is the commander of the Khamis Brigade, a special forces brigade of the military of Libya which is loyal to Muammar Gaddafi.

Public appearances

In 2008 visited Algeria, where he was received by president Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
