For what reason did you change my signature? --WGFinley (talk) 13:21, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

AE Decision

Pursuant to the discussion on AE:

You are not not to interact with Varsovian until December 1 as part of an interaction ban.

Please contact me with any questions or clarifications. --WGFinley (talk) 03:30, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

stamp

Is there a way to take the image from the stamp and "blow up" just the part in the center with the Polish and German flags without loosing too much in terms of resolution? I tried playing around with it but I'm horrible at that sort of thing and I couldn't get it to work.radek (talk) 06:35, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

The picture is only 37KB and and you can not blow it up too much without loosing sharpness of the image. To my knowledge there is no other way around it unless original stamp gets rescanned at higher resolution.--Jacurek (talk) 07:31, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm, the version here (not sure what that site's about, just that it has the picture) is slightly bigger. We don't need the image to be very big - just enough to make it into an award; but it should probably be just the part with the two flags. Will that work or is it still too small?radek (talk) 07:59, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Massacre of Lviv professors

Not really. A pretty good translation.--Galassi (talk) 11:22, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Map request

Since in the past you have created some maps, perhaps you could help with this request. Thank you, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:30, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

I am not sure

If this is really that needed. Placenames are one things, but translations of concepts... WP:DICT? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:03, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Why not? --Jacurek (talk) 21:11, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
More trouble than it's worth? :> --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:59, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Placenames

Hi Jacurek, though I agree Polish names should be added in the lead section of Lithuanian towns (if a shared history exists), I don't think the current discussion influences places sharing a Polish-German history. The Gdansk vote has already regulated the issue: “For Gdansk and other locations that share a history between Germany and Poland, the first reference of one name in an article should also include a reference to other names, e.g. Danzig (now Gdańsk, Poland) or Gdańsk (Danzig).” The first reference in an article is the lead section, that's why I restored the names. HerkusMonte (talk) 08:24, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

ok thanks, can you comment there?--Jacurek (talk) 09:06, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

AE enforcement request

I've filed an enforcement request about you at WP:AE. Fut.Perf. 09:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Please do not edit the evidence collected by others in the admin section, or you may be blocked. The diff that you sought to add in the evidence concerning you is not relevant in the list, as it does not add the German name to the lead, as you claim, but only reformats the German name that is already there.  Sandstein  21:20, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
