So, my name's Rebecca. Or Beck, if you want. Either is fine. I'm Australian. I like Canadians. Outside this most interesting project, I'm currently a law student at university. I should be very active until mid-January, as I'm on summer break, but I've recently moved house, and may be without the internet for several weeks or more until I get it connected at home.
I've been a Wikipedian since July 2003, but have only been active since early 2004. I've been a sysop since July 2004, and also served as a member of the arbitration committee from December 2004 to June 2005, when I resigned well short of my term expiry in order to focus on article writing instead. I'm also a sysop at WikiSource, although I don't edit there as much as I do at Misplaced Pages. I'm rarely on Simple, though I have an account there. In total, I've made over 15,000 edits, as of November 2005.
I tend to focus mostly on political topics these days, mostly relating to Australian state politics. I've also got a major sideproject going concerning netball, as I try to write a wealth of content on the sport in Australia from scratch, and hope to eventually get around to rewriting all the content on Misplaced Pages. Apart from that, I tend to do bits and pieces on a variety of topics that take my fancy at the time. If there's anything you'd like some help with, feel free to give me a hoy at my talk page, and I'll see if I can be of assistance.
