The owner and publisher of Jihad Unspun is Khadija Abdul Qahaar (also known by the pen name Bev Kennedy), who converted to Islam after 9/11. She publishes the site only under a pen name, stating that "many jihad related sites use pen names and this is a corporate decision I have instituted.
