Mianus is a locality in the state of Connecticut. It featured notoriously on the TV program Jackass, due to the fact that it sounds like "my anus", for example, "Hey look! There's Bam blowing it in Mianus" or "There's a red truck in Mianus", though it is actually pronounced "my ANN-us". Geographically, Mianus is nestled in a valley between two mountains.

A river of the same name runs through Mianus. The town is also noted for its high quality education facilies with North Mianus High School having a considerable national reputation and Mianus attracts students from across America.
