Turkish diplomat. Attacked by the Armenian terror organization JCAG on 6 February 1980, Bern.

A terrorist opened fire on Turkish Ambassador Dogan Türkmen, who escapes with minor wounds. The would-be-assassin, an Armenian named Max Klindjian, is subsequently arrested in Marseilles and returned to Switzerland for trial. The JCAG claimed credit for the attack.

More than 40 Turkish diplomats were killed in the Armenian terrorism.
