Antimodernism or anti-modernism are any of a number of viewpoints critical of modernism and its impact on contemporary society. Anti-modern movements represent a wide range of critiques, including appeals to tradition, religion, spirituality, environmentalism, aesthetics, pacifism or agrarian virtues. They may reject technologies, or their use, social organizations, such as corporations, or some combination of the above.
