Sakastan, Sakasthana or Sakasthan is a term indicating south and western regions of Afghansistan which was the Scythians or Sakas homeland around 1000 BCE-800 BCE. Saks' were a tribe of Aryans speaking Pashtu. During their expanding into eastern parts of Afghanistan, Sakastan came included many other parts of Afghanistan and Iran. from 700-600 BCE Saks's expanded into Europe and from 200-50 BCE Saka's invaded Indus vally, where they were known as Indo-Scythians.
