I changed my POV statement to say "monitoring". --Phroziac 15:23, 24 September 2005 (UTC)

re:removal of comments on RFAr

I honestly don't know how that comment dissapeared I didn't do it purposely and I've already told Fadix as such User talk:Fadix. The comment has already been put back and I apologize for any convienience that caused. Jtkiefer ----- 23:49, 29 September 2005 (UTC)

suggestions for Kurdish people

I noticed that you and Cool Cat have been having some issues on that article, I have suggested to him and now am suggesting to you that if a piece of info is unsourced it should be removed and copied over to the talk page where it can easily be discussed and can be re-added if anyone finds a valid source for it. Jtkiefer ----- 00:37, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

Open proxy

It's hard to verify that is an open proxy, but SORBS hasn't heard of it, although arin.net returns a rather cryptic result. Why do you think it's an open proxy? It's only edited once, although I rather suspect it may be Irishpunktom circumventing my block. -Splash 21:49, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

I see. Blocked indefinitely, but will have to report that to WP:AN/I in a sec. What of the other IPs editing the article? Are they proxies too? -Splash 21:59, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

Misplaced Pages:Articles_for_deletion/Cool_Cat/Wiki-politics

I have placed his character assassination page to deletion. Fadix 22:18, 1 October 2005 (UTC)

BTW, why is it not listed here? Misplaced Pages:Articles_for_deletion/Log/Today
I thought it was automated, using the template, to recopy the material. The history suggest it to be like that, since the last edit was done in September 9. Anyway, I'll ask Davenbelle. Regards Fadix 22:54, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I respectfully ask you to try and refrain from using personal attacks. You have not used any right now, but I already told Fadix and Cool Cat (twice) the same thing, so at least we could try to have a civil discussion. I know that you are on this hit list, and I would not be amused to be on such a list. Zach (Sound Off) 17:55, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

Dhul-Qarnayn

As detailed on the Talk page, I have removed the inherently POV additions made by that user, and am in the process of going through each point sourced and refrenced and will re-add a newer POV free entry probably tomorrow. Again, I remind you, referring to edits you disagree with as Vandalism is in itslef a form of Vandalism. --Irishpunktom\ 17:01, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

As I have previously stated, the reasons for the edit are stated on the talk page.. YOu've read it, and added to it.. or have you forgotten? This is a serious edit and process going on here. You are the one being disruptive. --Irishpunktom\ 17:41, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

"Gaming the system"

Gaming the system can mean more than one thing. In this case I'm referring to your constant posts on WP:AN/3RR over other users' editing, as well as other incidents. In any event, I didn't block you, nor do I plan to. My post was a personal comment on your actions- nothing more. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ral315 (talkcontribs) 23:19, October 3, 2005 (UTC)

Ali Sina

Firstly, I asked you to avoid Verbal attacks. Secondly, the quotes added are sourced and back up the Statements made. They are relevent, sourced and should stay, there is no need to argue about this, let them stay.

They are relevent sourced quotes relating directly to the statements made - They should stay.--Irishpunktom\ 19:28, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the message, Karl. Please continue this discussion on Irishpunktom's page or on the talk page of the article.--a.n.o.n.y.m 19:28, 13 October 2005 (UTC)

The Piece commented out was Unsourced POV nonsense, it's better out that in anywhere. Statements left by unknown people on Internet forums tend not to be notable enough to warrant inclusion, but if they are included then the ranking of said forum is important. --Irishpunktom\ 14:06, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

If the only source for "Death Threats" against this man are remarks made by an unknown person on an internet Forum, then the ranking of the forum is important, on an aside, that is not a death threat, but a militant fantasy. A death Threat is a threat made to a person or of a person.. something like "I am going to kill you", or "I will kill that guy".. these are threats, what was written at that forum were not death Threats, but thats irrelevant. The rankings, however, are not. --Irishpunktom\ 14:23, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
As displeasing as it is to your sensibilities, it is still not a death threat. Again, when if a forum post is relevent, then so too is it's ranking.--Irishpunktom\ 14:34, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
Yes, that is a Death threat, go with that. Secondly, any time you quote from an internet Forum its' ranking becomes very relelvent, as such, no, do not remove that sourced information. --Irishpunktom\ 14:46, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
Actually, that Death thjreat is not directed at Ali Sina at all, rather at American Troops accused of desecrating the Qur'an in Cuba, so I'd be wary of including it. Can you not get a better source so as to end this squabling? --Irishpunktom\ 14:52, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
He, presuming it's a He, does not make a death threat against Ali Sina, but then there is no claim in the article (as it stands) that such a claim is made so it is fine as it is. If it was a top ten ranking I doubt you would be so keen to dismiss it, but, it would still warrant inclusion.--Irishpunktom\ 15:24, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
Grand so, it'll be left. --Irishpunktom\ 16:30, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

Blocked for 3RR violation.

In accordance with 3RR, you have been blocked from editing for 24 hours. Even though you didn't revert any particular section more than twice, you made 4 reverts in all. I'm watching this talk page; please leave any comments you might have here, and I'll try to answer them as soon as possible. Ral315 (talk) 00:32, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

Hi Karl -- I really should have stepped out of this debate as I promised, but I noticed that you've gotten involved. May I suggest that as a step towards stopping revert wars, you place an "NPOV" template on the article? You may have more luck as a bit of a "neutral party" who just joined. This will help get people talking on the talk page. Just a suggestion; it's kind of a battle zone there now. Yours, Sdedeo 02:19, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

My RFA

Thank you very much for supporting my rather contentious request for adminship, but now that I've been promoted, I'd like to do a little dance here *DANCES*. If you have any specific issues/problems with me, please feel free to state them on my talk page so that I can work to prevent them in the future, and thanks once again!  ALKIVAR 07:36, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

Warning to Karl Meier and Cool Cat

I shall block you both if I catch you edit warring any more as you have done on Kurdistan Workers Party and Kurdistan. I am warning you both. New vote for deletion

Template:WivesMuhammad

I am very disappointed that you would just go and revert after a month like you did without even as much as attempting to re-open discussion or even having an edit summary. It is completely uncalled for to act in such a way. If you want to discuss the changes do that, but as the discussion last ran Zeno had left the project in a fit of name calling and you gave up. That is not consensus for you to change it to your views. Have some real two-sided discussion before you attempt to revert. gren グレン 09:37, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

Cool Cat mentorship, Kurdistan, etc

You have both been blocked for twelve hours, subject to review (see WP:AN/I).

This is a copy of comments I've made on the talk pages of Cool Cat's other mentors'

Cool Cat has recently engaged in very aggressive, unprovoked attacks on Karl Meier, including blindly reverting the latter's edits on two Kurd-related articles--on which Cool Cat has not previously edited for over two months.

He and Karl Meier have both edit warred on Kurdistan, and I've just blocked both for twelve hours. Cool Cat's edits on Kurdistan, without the aggressive behavior, would be borderline, but in the circumstances I'm inclined to the view that the problems are unlikely to be resolved because Cool Cat will not improve his behavior. I think we should consider banning him from editing any articles related to Turkey or the Kurds for two weeks. Please see the talk page of the mentorship (the link in the subject header of this section). --Tony Sidaway|Talk 21:08, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

User:Yuber

G'day Karl,

I notice that User:Yuber seems to be getting rvted a lot, sometimes for POV-pushing, sometimes for reasons that are, frankly, rather baffling. The username showing up for the first time on some articles (such as American terrorism, where I first saw the intriguing phenomenon) is "Karl Meier". Is there anything you'd like to talk about, or any help you require? Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 03:52, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

Your revert at Majdal Shams crossed the line. Majdal Shams is basically populated by secular Arab Druze and Arab Christians, and it has nothing to do with your "wiki-crusade" against Islam. Yuber 22:58, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

Do you think the version with the image in the middle and the link at the top, which might stop the edit wars, is less informative than the one with the image at the top? Hipocrite - «Talk» 22:55, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Where in the Book "Alexander's Gate, Gog and Magog, and the Inclosed Nations" do you find the evidence to support the claim " The Alexander Romance was enormously popular in the Hellenistic world, including Jewish communities, among which Alexander had practically gained the status of a folk hero" - I have read it twice, and though I needed Help with the Latin, I could not find it there. --Irishpunktom\ 10:58, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

I need your help

While I have some problems with your frequentations in Misplaced Pages(religion related), I need someone helping me with evidences, check my evidenve page, I need help accumulating as much evidences as could it be found. I am not involving you into this and I don't wish any involvement since this time it is only between me and Coolcat and it has gone much too personal with what he has done. You can use my evidence page and add the evidences there. I am not emailing you this since I want Coolcat to know what I am up to and for matters of transparency. Regards. Oh another thing, while I have not added a big deal of the evidences I have accumulated and I have to go out for now, know that there is no doubt in my mind that Coolcat is Karabekir and that both are Nafriz, I have also evidences in Turkish language that will come in the last part of my documentation.
