Generosa Rand (March 22, 1956 in Laguna Beach, California - August 23, 2003 in New York City) was the widow of murdered New York bussinessman and multimillionaire Ted Ammon.
She was orphaned at age 10 when her mother died of cancer. She graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 1981, and moved to New York to be an artist. She met Ammon when she called him after he failed to keep an appointment for an apartment she was to show him; they married in 1986.
She and Ammon were about to finalize their divorce when he died. On January 15, 2002, she married her boyfriend, Danny Pelosi, who was later convicted of Ted's murder. She was offered immunity from prosecution to testify against Pelosi before a grand jury, but refused. She died of breast cancer at Lenox Hill Hospital.
She cut Pelosi out of her will, but left him USD $2 million for his legal expenses. She gave custody of her and Ted's adopted twins to their nanny; in 2005, full custody was awarded to his sister. Generosa was played by Poppy Montgomery in the 2005 TV-movie Murder in the Hamptons.
