Welcome!

Hello, CaptainAmerica. I see you've just created your User page. Welcome to Misplaced Pages!

Here are some tips to help you get started:

Good luck!
Hajor

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).

Come and vote your mind

Dear Christian friend,

I saw you on the list of Christian Wikipedians and wanted to let you know about something. The other day, someone nominated 12 Christian biography entries for deletion! They include a Christian university list of people (not unlike 68 other lists like it), presidents of universities, and authors of many books.

Since that time, people have been voting. Please take this message as a call to vote; not a call to vote a certain way. I respect you and your ability to come, read the entry, and make a wise decision. In other words, I’m not vote stacking or campaigning; simply letting you know something that you’d probably like to know.

By the way, my friend recently started an organization called Wiki4Christ. If you’d like to join a network of Christians with a purpose on Misplaced Pages, please see the site!

Below are some of the links that need attention. Thanks for your consideration.

Crossing flags

I would like to ask you not to cross official flags on your user page. Imagine someone did that to yours. This is even considered a crime in many countries. I just regard that as bad manners. I am sure you are able to express your reasonable opinion in a respectful way. ROGNNTUDJUU! 20:52, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

I cross the flags of the UN and the ACLU. Those are not countries. No one is a 'citizen' of the UN. -- CaptainAmerica
You had also a crossed flag of the EU. It has been deleted. Please find a more respectful way to show your legitimate criticism of organizations than crossing their official symbols. ROGNNTUDJUU! 00:38, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
I didn't make the infobox. You should complain to whoever did. -- CaptainAmerica
I did not want to disrespect you by leaving you with a red link without knowing why. Individuals joining any action are responsible on their own, so I think it was the right thing to turn to the users of the image. It also was not an official template any longer whose creator could have been addressed, users just set it up on their pages using the same image. ROGNNTUDJUU! 02:51, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia_talk:Censorship

A revised version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 11:47, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Hey, please report the ipvandal if he does it again at Misplaced Pages:Administrator intervention against vandalism. I did after this last time, but they normally don't do anything (this time included) unless it's recent. --Falcorian  05:26, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
