Welcome to WikiProject Animals in media. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Misplaced Pages's coverage of Animals in media and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. Goals
The main goal of WikiProject Animals in media is to improve articles that either feature animals or have animals at its heart. Various sub-goals are on the to-do list.
Scope
Literature set in an animal's world.
Literature with an animal as the main character.
Literature with one or more animals as supporting characters.
Movies narrated by an animal.
Movies with an animal as the main character.
Movies with one or more animals as supporting characters.
Television shows narrated by an animal.
Television shows with an animal as the main character.
Television shows with one or more animals as supporting characters.
Theatre programs with either a real animal or a puppet in the shape of an animal.
Animal characters in literature, movies, television, or theatre.
Guidelines
Literature must mention the animal as if it were in or was previously in the world the character lives in.
Movies and television shows must have the animal actually appear or be heard on screen.
Theatre must meet at least one of the above guidelines.

Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them, are at least over 1,000 characters, don't have any dispute templates on them, and cite their sources, should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Misplaced Pages Main Page.
