The Gender Trust is a United Kingdom charitable organization promoting public education about transgender and gender identity issues and providing information to those affected. Based in Horsham and Henfield, West Sussex, the group formed in 1990 to support transsexuals and others living with gender identity disorder. It also operates a volunteer-run support helpline. They offer assistance in helping people understand transexual issues as well as advice to businesses on following current legal standards, the 2007 Gender Equality duty (GED) for example.
