- The information on the image page is just saying that you need to provide a licence. In this case we must assume that the image is copyrighted (since it comes from a commercial website and I couldn't find a licence for the image on that website). So the only way we can use it is if the image is Fair use. I don't think it is fair use, and thus it should get deleted.--Commander Keane 01:03, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Could I request of that site permission to use the image? Would that be acceptable if I secured permission?
- If the site allows permission for just Misplaced Pages then that is still not acceptable. We can use the image is they release it under a free licence, like GFDL or public domain (but they may not want to, becasue then it can be sold and they won't get credit). The only other way we could use the image is if you said it was a publicity shot and tagged it with {{Promophoto}}--Commander Keane 01:16, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
