August 2011

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from America's Next Top Model, Cycle 16. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Hell's Kitchen (U.S. season 9)

Thank you for your efforts on the contestant progress section. Please be aware that there is an existing consensus on how to style these. The light green is reserved for contestants who were nominated by Chef Ramsay but prevailed in elimination. The red color is for those contestants that are eliminated from competition for any nomination reason. The brown color is for those contestants that withdraw from competition (for medical reasons or quiting). Please respect the consensus or feel free to open a discussion about it. Shannon Stewart/Ratliff

Please do not change Shannon Ratliff on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 17 page. She now follows her husband's surname and if you do to revert it back, you may be blocked from editing. ApprenticeFan 12:45, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

September 2011

Your addition to America's Next Top Model, Cycle 17 has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Misplaced Pages without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Moonriddengirl 14:27, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation

You recently made a submission to Articles for Creation. Your article has been reviewed and because some issues were found, it could not be accepted in its current form; it is now located at Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/Jenah Doucette. Please view your submission to see the comments left by the reviewer. Feel free to edit the submission to address the issues raised, and resubmit once you feel they have been resolved. (You can do this by adding the text {{subst:AFC submission/submit}} to the top of the article.) Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages! mabdul 12:00, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Your submission is also in violation of Misplaced Pages's copyright policies, as you have copied at least some of the content from . Because their license is compatible with ours, you can reuse their material, but their content is not public domain. You legally cannot reuse it without giving credit to the author. I will add the attribution template for you in this instance, but please do not copy content from anywhere else unless you are sure you know how to do so in accordance with copyright policies and guidelines. See Misplaced Pages:Copy-paste. Continuing to copy content outside of these policies is likely to result in your account being blocked, and it would be much better to work out how to handle the issues before that happens. If you have questions about copyright, you are welcome to come by my talk page.
Please note that Wikia is not usable as a source on Misplaced Pages, so this is not considered a source in terms of reaching publication for the article. --Moonriddengirl 12:14, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:Antm4.png

Thanks for uploading File:Antm4.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Misplaced Pages, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages. If you need help, post your question on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:ANTM17.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:ANTM17.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 08:34, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

October 2011

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to upload media files with false or lacking copyright and source information, as you did at File:ANTM17.jpg, you may be blocked from editing. November 2011

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Misplaced Pages from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Moonriddengirl 14:23, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
This block is for your removal of the templates from America's Next Top Model, Cycle 16 on 1 November, thereby restoring copyrighted content to publication. Continued problems with copyright issues - whether you place them directly or restore them when somebody else attempts to remove them - may result in the indefinite blocking of your account. --Moonriddengirl 14:25, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Misplaced Pages, as you did to America's Next Top Model, Cycle 17, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. August 2012

Hello, I'm WikHead. I noticed that you recently removed some content from America's Next Top Model, Cycle 17 without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Misplaced Pages with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks,  -- WikHead (talk) 05:58, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

September 2012

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Misplaced Pages, as you did at America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. AussieLegend (talk) 09:51, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Just to clarify, there is a very clear message in the "Photo shoot guide" section of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19 indicating that you need to "comply with Misplaced Pages's Manual of Style, especially MOS:BOLD, MOS:CAPS and WP:OVERLINK" when editing the section. You deleted the message when you restored edits that contravened both MOS:BOLD and MOS:CAPS. I've reverted that edit as vandalism, since you were clearly aware of the note and you have been editing the article long enough to know that such edits are inappropriate. Please do not restore non-compliant edits again. --AussieLegend (talk) 09:57, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Unconstructive editing at America's Next Top Model, Cycle 19

This is unconstructive. Instead of making the article non-compliant with the Manual of Style, you should be fixing other articles so that they do comply. Directing editors to force non-compliance, as you did here is inappropriate and bordering on vandalism. In this edit you removed a still valid {{ref improve}} template without explanation, which warrants a warning on its own. Adding {{italic title}} is pointless as {{Infobox television season}} already italicises the title, although only America's Next Top Model should be italicised. Changing first_aired is bordering on vandalism. Please edit constructively in future, respecting the Manual of Style and other policies and guidelines. --AussieLegend (talk) 05:01, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Is there something above that you find difficult to understand? This edit just makes no sense at all. It's impossible to understand what you're having problems with if you refuse to explain, or even make a simple reply. -- AussieLegend () 07:59, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
