However, "not everything copied from one Misplaced Pages page to another requires attribution", including "bare references" and "simple, non-creative lists of information" (see...]) | |||
Regarding your example of Louis Scott, his Misplaced Pages biography states that he won an Olympic gold medal, and that he was born in Paterson, New Jersey. This is the information I added to the "Notable people" section of his home town. I'm not sure how this could be interpreted as anything but bare and simple? | |||
