Thomas "Tom" Neuwirth (scene name Conchita Wurst) is an Austrian transvestite singer born 6 November 1988 in Gmunden.

Biography

In 2006 he participated to the third edition of the Austrian show Starmania. He got the second place (Nadine Beiler got the first place). One year later, in 2007, he founded the boyband Jetzt anders! that they stopped in the same year.

In 2011, he participated as Conchita Wurst to the ORF's show Die große Chance. He got the second place of the Austrian Eurovision 2012.
