Although I originally come from Cornwall, I currently live near Coventry, England, where I work as an archivist at the University of Warwick. I'm a graduate in history from the University of Kent and in archive administration from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I'm a Special Constable with Warwickshire Police, and also a former member of the Territorial Army.

My interests include military history, fortifications, church history and architecture (interest only - I'm not religious), law enforcement history, cinema and theatre, the British honours system, the 1920s, roleplaying games and fantasy literature.
