Andy has been an outspoken activist of ending marijuana prohibition in the US. His company publishes the game Stoner Fluxx which includes, at least in my version, a manifesto of sorts. Also, see: <http://www.wunderland.com/LooneyLabs/StonerFluxx/activists.html> |

Fluxx Mensa Mind Games award
In trying to add some references, I note that Fluxx won the Mensa Mind Games award in 1999, but the Mensa site that lists the Past Winners won't allow me to go directly to the page - someone would have to select the year to see it won the award. How best should I cite this? --Timotab 02:57, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- Good question! :) The answer is, something doesn't have to be online to be cited -- it just needs to be a reliable source. See WP:CITE and WP:ATT for more info. In a nutshell though: Cite something in such a way that an independent editor, not familiar with the subject, could verify the information. --Elonka 03:05, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
References in General
Full Disclosure: I'm a fan of the Looney Labs Product line, so I'm presenting references here for others to look at and review, to avoid any appearance of COI.
Fluxx was also number 34 in the National Games Week top 100 played games of 2006
There was also an article published in Games Magazine In October 2005. I have a copy of the content of the article, and have no reason to believe it's not genuine, but the copy of that content is not from a reliable source. I'm trying to get my hands on the October 2005 edition of the magazine to verify it, but even if I do, how would one cite that?

also found a review of Aquarius in The Missoulian (a local Montana newspaper) --Timotab 04:00, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- I couldn't get the National Games Week link to work. Is there a better source for that information?
- The Games Magazine would be a great source, and you can probably use {{citation}} within a <ref>.
- Andy blah blah something blah<ref name="gamesmag">{{Citation | last = | first = | author-link = | last2 = | first2 = | author2-link = | title = | newspaper = | pages = | year = | date = | url = }}</ref>. More stuff, blah blah.
- If you need help with that, let me know. More information can be found here and here.
- I do remember reading that Montana newspaper article, but I'm not sure what information we could pull from it.
- Good luck with the cleanup and referencing! ~ Amalas rawr 13:37, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
