Howard Milton Webb is an English football referee in the FA Premier League. He is based in Rotherham, Yorkshire, and widely considered to be one of the best young referees in the league. He has been appointed as a FIFA official.
At the end of the 2005 - 2006 season, he took charge of the FA Trophy Final, a game in which Grays beat Woking 2 - 0.
At the start of the season, he also refereed the FA Community Shield, which saw League winners Chelsea beat FA Cup winners Arsenal 2 - 1.
His first game as a referee in the FA Premier League was in 2003, and in November 2005, he officiated the international friendly between Northern Ireland and Portugal.
