: I didn't talk to Arbcom (don't even know the procedure). Yes they are all more or less brainwashed but they can be educated. Think about it: if someone can be indoctrinated with "bad" ideology, they can also be indoctrinated with "good" ideology! Well, perhaps not them but their kids (this is where wiki comes into play), but the principle still holds. Here it's all about collecting sources and if they persist if POV pushing just report them and ''au revoir''. I've looked into your case but don't understand why you were banned from editing at all. Next time just use talk page to announce your modifications to articles. I think I'll compile something for Croats from Fine, Kordić and Bukowski, they would be good for start. I keep running away from these topics but they always somehow pop up. When you leave such articles on their own they inevitably get corrupted but POV pushers. --] (]) 15:46, 19 February 2014 (UTC) : I didn't talk to Arbcom (don't even know the procedure). == Topic ban ==

Hi, another admin brought to my attention your recent edits to ANI. Since you were mentioned by name, I don't have a problem with you responding to questions or comments directed at you personally, but engaging in discussion about Balkans-related articles is arguably a violation of your topic ban. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt this time, but in future, I would recommend you consider the scope of the topic ban to include discussion of Balkans topics anywhere on Misplaced Pages. If you're unsure about whether an edit would violate the topic ban, ask me or another admin. ] | ] 21:33, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Origin of national identities

Hi Hxseek! How are things going? I keep running into conflicts with Croatian nationalists who seem to be the most persistent of the bunch. I keep reiterating the same arguments on the origins of the Croatian nation and identity, and it's annoying. I'm losing too much time I want to dedicate to other more productive things, so I'd like to have it somewhere summarized so that it can easily be invoked in discussions. Do you think wee need an article, or even better a series of articles for every European nation, that specifically deal with origins of modern-day national identities? I couldn't find any central place to discuss that and related issues are usually dispersed among disparate sections of unrelated articles. It could be inserted as a subtopic inside the {{Europe topic}} template. I'd like the summarize the conclusions from Fine's great boook but can't seem to find the place... --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 14:44, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

Topic ban

Hi, another admin brought to my attention your recent edits to ANI.
