'Rhyme Skool' is a series of 2 Audio cds based on Worldly known Nursery Rhymes which has done by Km school of music and Sa Re Ga Ma production Company with Sunfeast Dream cream, and It has been narrated by well known Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif.Oscar winner A.R.Rahman has supervised the music which was composed and orchestrated by his students at KM Music Conservatory,a college founded by A.R.Rahman

Background

This was the first ever audio CD released by KM music school after its launched in 2008.All the scores were recorded at the Audio media studio at chennai and it was mixed and mastered at AM studio Chennai which in using to do Rahman's Main Orchestrations .The CD was based on best well known Nursery rhymes, First official release was held at Intercontinental hotel Mumbai in 2010.,In 201 production company has launched the 2nd CD.

Texture

KM composers and arrangers had used many musical styles and genres in this album,mainly pop music,Hindustani folk percussion and Karnataka percussion's ,jazz,country and western,Celtic vocals and Oriental music in this album,they have used keyboards and digital programming along with acoustic instruments and live voices,many of the vocal parts have been harmonized with alto and tenor with thirds.

Students of KM conservatory has done a great job under the guidence of one of the well known guitarist John Anthony who has played for thousands of Indian movies and one of the members of Roots along with Sivamani & A.R.Rahman. Annad Veer Sing and Sri-Lankan Composer Dinesh Subasinghe has brought Unique sounds to this cd playing Harmonica, Folk instruments like Ravanahatha and Kingiri,even a oriental and jazz touch to "flowers". ,

.KM student Jerry Silvester Vincent and Rachinthan Trivedi has done a great job with there Digital programming while Jerry has done all the basic mixing of the CD.
