The Kiwalik River is a river in found on western Alaska's Seward Peninsula. The headwaters of the river originate portion of the Seward Peninsula, around the Imuruk Lake area. The river flows north to it's mouth at Kiwalik Lagoon. The turn of the century mining town of Candle is found on it's western bank at the confluence of Candle Creek.
