Choosing to do a project on the history of the town, Misuzu finds a book containing the story of Kannabi no Mikoto, the inspiration for the upcoming festival. After meeting and befriending Yukito on the beach and crashes her bike, Misuzu invites Yukito to stay at her home until the festival after learning that he has no place to stay.
