The discography of Romanian pop/dance singer Alexandra Stan consists of two studio albums and eleven singles, each accompanied by a music video. Her debut single "Lollipop" was released in December 2009 and was met with bad reviews, but managed to open doors for later songs. Following this, she released "Mr. Saxobeat" a dance song with strong elements of Hi-NRG and house music. The song became a hit in her native country initially, logging eight weeks at No.1 in late 2010 and early 2011. Following this success, the song was released internationally and peaked at No.1 in eight other countries across Europe, including Germany and Italy, while reaching the top 10 in the other countries, including a No.3 peak in the UK Singles Chart. Stan even entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where "Mr. Saxobeat" peaked at 21. She also managed to reach the top 20 in Australia, No.4 in New Zealand and No.25 in Canada. Her third single, "Get Back" was criticised for being too similar to her previous hit and failed to live up to the expectations, although she still charted within the top 40 in many European countries. In the UK, in only reached No.56.
Following this, she released her debut album, Saxobeats, which reached the top 40 of the album charts in several European countries, including Austria, Finland, Germany, and Switzerland. The album was also released in Japan, where it peaked at No.15. Her last single from the album, "1.000.000", was released in late 2011 and is a duet with German rapper Carlprit.
The sophomore studio album by Alexandra Stan is titled "Unlocked" and was released exclusively in Japan on 27 August 2014. The International version was released on November 25 2014. It includes the hit singles "Cherry Pop" and "Dance", which hitted the Asian market. Both songs reached the #1 in the iTunes Chart in Japan, after two hours instead the official release.
