Afghan may refer to:

  • A citizen of Afghanistan, or a person of Afghan descent belonging to any of the country's ethnic groups
  • A person who's a member of the Persian ethnicity, and/or speaks one of the Indo-European Persian dialects as their mother tongue. These people are the native Afghans and make up the majority of the population in Afghanistan.
