A uniform fetish is a sexual fetish in which someone enjoys dressing in a uniform, or derives sexual pleasure from viewing another person dressed in this manner. While this is classified as a sexual fetish, it does not require any actual sexual contact per se. Among the commonest uniforms used are those of a schoolgirl, nurse, french maid, waitress, cheerleader, Playboy Bunny, policeman, soldier and firefighter. The uniforms may be realistic, or made sexier by adding such accoutrements as a very short skirt, stockings, fishnet tights or high heels.
Sometimes, the uniform worn will be chosen to fit with other sexual activities. For example, someone may wear a nurse's uniform to administer an enema, or a police uniform to handcuff and cage someone. This may add a sense of authenticity to the role play.
