| ShortSummary = Acknowledging her love for Raku, Chitoge contemplates on how things will progress between them from now on. Raku reveals to Chitoge, Kosaki and Marika that his locket has been returned to him but is not completely repaired, disabling them from discovering the girl Raku made a promise with in the past. As Chitoge ruminates on the possibility of her not being Raku's promised girl, the latter takes notice on Chitoge's anxiousness and assumes it as hunger for being on a diet, much to Chitoge's chagrin. In hopes to get Raku's attention, Chitoge makes constant refurbishes to her appearance which Raku constantly fails to notice, much to her vexation. Raku eventually reveals that he was aware of Chitoge's attempts yet refused to comment about it out of embarrassment; however Raku was not able to notice Chitoge wearing her new ribbon. | | ShortSummary = Acknowledging her love for Raku, Chitoge contemplates on how things will progress between them from now on. Nisekoi is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same title written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. The series is produced by Shaft and directed by Akiyuki Shinbo. Starting on January 11, 2014, the program airs weekly on a number of Japanese channels such as MBS, Tokyo MX, tvk, TV Aichi and some others, while outside Japan, it is being simulcast streamed by Crunchyroll and Daisuki with subtitles in English and other languages. A run of 20 episodes has been planned.
The romantic comedy follows the misadventures of Raku Ichijo, a high school student who is the son of a yakuza leader, as he is forcibly paired with Chitoge Kirisaki, a transfer student with a conflicting personality who is the daughter of a rival gang leader, in a pretend dating relationship to quell the feud between the gangs. As Raku pines for the affections of his crush Kosaki Onodera, he learns that the girls have been carrying keys that could unlock his locket, a symbol of his past love.
The opening theme for the series is "Click" by ClariS for the first fourteen episodes and the ending themes are "Heart Pattern" by Nao Tōyama for the first seven episodes, "Recover Decoration" (リカバーデコレーション) by Kana Hanazawa for episode 8 and 10-13, Trick Box by Mikako Komatsu for episode 15 and 17 and "Hanagonomi" (はなごのみ) by Kana Asumi for episode 18 and 19. Starting at episode fifteen, the opening theme is "Step" by ClariS, which also happens to be the ending theme of episode fourteen. Episode 20's ending theme is "Sōzō Diary" (想像ダイアリー, Sōzō Daiarī) by Nao Toyama as Chitoge Kirisaki, Kana Hanazawa as Kosaki Onodera, Mikako Komatsu as Seishirou Tsugumi, and Kana Asumi as Marika Tachibana. On the Japanese Blu-ray version, the fourth ending theme is "Order×Order" (オーダー×オーダー, Ōdā×Ōdā) by Yumi Uchiyama.
