:No there are Greeks too in Syria and Antiochia since ancient times!!! —Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 15:15, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Antiochian Greeks are not Arabs. They are of Greek ancestry, which is why they belong to the Greek Orthodox Church in the first place. Some refer to them as Arabs only because they speak Arabic, nothing more. Some members of the Antiochian Church refer themselves as Arabs only for political reasons. Speaking Arabic does not make you an Arab. Antiochian Greeks are Greeks who trace their roots to the Hellenistic and Byzantine times! — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 02:20, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

--They are called Arabs only because they speak Arabic. They were invaded by the Arabs in the 7th century, and were forced to Arabize. Most of the Greek Orthodox people in Lebanon and Syria are not ethnic Arabs, but are just Arabized Greeks. Speaking Arabic does not make you an Arab. The Greek Antiochian Church is telling its people they are Arabs only for political reasons, nothing more.
Thanks. — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 07:23, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

This article is a total non-sense, the majority are aramaic/syriac, they are hellenized aramaic, and when arabs came, they has been arabized. And if they feel arab now, it's because their culture is more semitic than greek.
This article should be entirely deleted, try to google "Antiochian Greek", there are nothing except this article. — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 23:12, 4 February 2015 (UTC)
