| She was a choreographer on all of Disney Channel's smash hit High School Musical films, directed by Kenny Ortega. Bonnie received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography, along with Kenny Ortega and Charles Klapow for their work on High School Musical. Bonnie served as co-choreographer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, choreographed an episode of Touched by an Angel, and the Disney film, Virtual Perfection. She assisted Vincent Paterson on a commercial campaign for Hummer, which aired internationally. As the Associate Artistic Director of Odyssey Dance Theatre, she has directed and choreographed concert work for the company. She is a highly sought after guest teacher who teaches and choreographs for many institutions throughout the country and has taught her special brand of jazz within the Ballet Department at the University of Utah. Under the direction of Vincent Paterson, she assisted and choreographed Playzone 2006, a monumental stage production featuring some of the biggest music recording artists in Japan. | |||

Bonnie has also performed in many MTV videos such as Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal, and has worked with Micheal Jackson again on a MTV anniversary project. Bonnie Story (Born March 19) is an American Emmy Award-winning choreographer for her work in the 2006 television movie High School Musical, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3. Previously Bonnie Story has choreographed many pieces for the widely renowned Odyssey Dance Theater but this year, due to much success from the third installment of High School Musical, she has had to give Odyssey 2 a break. Currently Bonnie enjoys her days running various dance programs at the Treehouse Athletic Club in Draper, UT. She auditioned in Salt Lake City, USA and she continued in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, she was eliminated just before the Top 20 were selected.
In 2012, Story choreographed international dance scenes for Loving the Silent Tears, a Broadway-style musical, based on Supreme Master Ching Hai’s poetry collection, Silent Tears.
So You Think You Can Dance
Bonnie started choreographing for SYTYCD on Season 10, her first piece being a group dance during the Top 14 show to Tears of an Angel by Ryandan.
