Use in Europe

Somebody edited in a statement about how European authorities mandate the use of intumescents. That is false. Authorities mandate code compliance. Whether you accomplish that with an intumescent or an endothermic or a plaster or a frizzle frazzle, is secondary. The application of firestopping is adequately referenced in here.--Achim 23:14, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
