Quintin McKellar CBE is a British veterinary surgeon and academic. Since January 2011 he has been vice-chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire.
Education and Career
From 2004 he was principal of the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) of the University of London, a position which he held for six years. His research interests are in the pharmacology of anti-infective and anti-inflammatory drugs in domestic animals, and he is widely published.
McKellar was appointed CBE in 2010 for his services to science, during his tenure as principal of the Royal Veterinary College.
He is currently an elected member of the UK Board of Universities UK.
He earns over £300,000 a year.
