That change wasn't rejected, it was just ignored, and ] doesn't state a specific layout for season pages. There is no need, nor requirement for you to change that one page. If you're going to do that, then go and change ALL NCIS franchise season pages to reflect your decision. If not, then the one article you followed me to will just look out of place. That change wasn't rejected, it was just ignored, and WP:TVCAST doesn't state a specific layout for season pages. There is no need, nor requirement for you to change that one page.
