Coral Jeanne Smith (born on January 19, 1979 in San Francisco, California, USA) is one of the seven stars from the The Real World: Back to New York. Coral has competed in six challenges and made it to the end of five challenges in all. Because of this, she's earned a venerable reputation on the reality-competition spin-off shows of the Real World and Road Rules. Although she knows and has the ability to make it to the end of the challenges, she's only won one challenge and that was her very first challenge. She won with former enemy, but long-time friend, Mike Mizanin, as her partner. Coral can currently still be found competing on various Real World/Road Rules Challenges in which she has a reputation for being one of the most formidable competitors because of her cunning and compelling persuasiveness. She is charismatic and has a way with getting people on her side whether it's to stay in the competition or gang up on certain individuals that get on her bad side. On the challenges, she's often considered to be one of the stronger negative female competitors which generally consists of Tina Barta, Veronica Portillo, Rachel Robinson, and sometimes Tonya Cooley.

She's had a love-hate relationship with Mike the Miz and was best friends with Nicole Jackson on the Real World 10 in 2001. Although her notoriously spiteful, rancorous, and belligerent attitudes have landed her into many feuds, they're at the same time why she's so entertaining and able to take up most of the camera time. Even though Coral has been known to be vocal, hard-hitting, and more than able to outtalk and intimidate others, she has a softer side as well.

Coral is almost always the center of attention at social gatherings as proven by her animated, amusing behavior and wisecracking remarks whenever there's a big crowd. Coral is very much a take-charge woman as she's always taking control of situations, such as when she directs and gets the ball rolling at each of the group meetings made for voting cast mates into elimination rounds. She has always had a respect for, and a good sense of her ethnic background. Coral has stated she's earned her degree in law school, but that she's really doing nothing but lying around all day waiting to be called in for challenges.

Recent Mission Entitled Fresh Meat

Coral and Evan were dominant, until they were both injured in the early going. Coral busted her knee cap and was unable to continue competing. Coral was reluctant to quit however, but had no choice as decided by program producer's. Coral and Evan, ever unstoppable, won 5 challenges in all. Most likely, them being forced out of the competition gave other teams an opportunity to win.
