Walter Chiari (born 2 March 1924 Verona, died 20 December 1991 Milan) was an Italian stage and screen actor, mostly in comedy roles.

He achieved a certain degree of international success in films such as The Little Hut, Bonjour tristesse, Chimes at Midnight and The Valachi Papers. He also appeared in They're a Weird Mob, based on a popular Australian novel by John O'Grady. His most memorable performance was opposite Anna Magnani in Luchino Visconti's 1951 film, Bellissima.
