The TS010 was Toyota's entry in the Sportscar World Championship in 1991 and 1992. The car was built to meet new sportscar racing regulations imposed by the FIA from 1991 and was designed by Tony Southgate of TWR-Jaguar fame. As with all cars built to these new rules the TS010 featured a purpose-built 3500cc naturally aspirated V10 (similar to contemporary Formula 1 engines) engine and had weight limit of 750Kg (compared to 900Kg for cars built to the previous Group C regulations). It's only victory was in the opening race of the 1992 season.
