== Where did Tesla magnifier image come from? ==
] | |||
Hi! I would like to find out where this image comes from. You are listed as the uploader, but no source is given. It is a valuable historic image, obviously public domain, but without source information it will eventually be deleted from Wikimedia Commons. I want to prevent that. It is a circuit of Tesla's magnifying transmitter, drawn by Nikola Tesla, I would guess it is from one of his patents, but I can't find which. Can you help? Do you know the original source? If not, where did you get it from? Thank you very much for your help. --<font color="blue">]</font>''<small>]</small>'' 14:42, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

If a rule prevents you from improving Misplaced Pages, ignore it.
By all means break the rules, and break them beautifully, deliberately and well. That is one of the ends for which they exist ...
Pedantry and mastery are opposite attitudes toward rules. To apply a rule to the letter, rigidly, unquestioningly, in cases where it fits and in cases where it does not fit, is pedantry ... To apply a rule with natural ease, with judgment, noticing the cases where it fits, and without ever letting the words of the rule obscure the purpose of the action or the opportunities of the situation, is mastery.
