== And his name is... ==

There's a new sheriff in town, and his name is J.R. Hercules. And he don't take too kindly to people reverting his POV-removal edits and then calling the reversions "NPOV". This ain't no NRA bulletin board -- and I ain't no pushover, or someone likely to cave in. So you just watch your Misplaced Pages etiquette now, y'hear? (Joking aside, please make only justifiable reversions, preferably with sources. Otherwise, this will become an administrator issue, which I'd rather avoid. Thanks.) ] 22:12, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

:Please use grammatical language when making changes in the future to articles. I will continue to delete poor grammer edits regularly when I cannot tell what the point of the individual was that made the edits originally. It only takes a few more minutes for your edits to at least make sense. And, as for POV edits, please do not call gun rights activists with your POV label of anti-gun control activists. Gun control activists are just activists that favor gun control; gun rights activists are just activists that favor gun rights. Please do not label either of them by your POV statements that favor the other side's viewpoint. Such is extremely POV. Instead, please put both in a positive form of a statement, to respect the other's views. This is Misplaced Pages, where NPOV is the goal, and respect for all beliefs are most desired. Thanks. ] 03:06, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

==A few thoughts on ]==
Hello Hercules and welcome back to ]. I have noticed that you sometimes tend to write comments intended to impress on or even frighten other uses when stating what you intend to do "in the coming days" (e.g. comments to the effect of ''"I'm the sheriff around here"'' and ''"I'll soon be taking care of this once and for all"''). While there isn't really anything wrong or harmful with such an approach ''per se'', perhaps a more pragmatic strategy will prove more helpful in the long run? Announcing several months ahead what contributions you intend to make is not contrary to any rules, but is rather unnecessary, especially if you thereby imply an expectation that the other participants will anxiously hold their breaths in the meantime. All that is really required of you as a wikipedian is that you state what factual disagreements you may have and then proceed to ] that you are more right and they are less right (or not right at all). I hope you don't take discussions and criticisms too personally, and that you will come to enjoy ] as much as I do. =''J'' <small>''']</small><u><font color="#990011">|</font><small>]</small><font color="#990011">|</font><small>]</small><font color="#990011">|'''</font></u> 16:14, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

]

I had no idea the WAC was a major conference, but the MWC was a mid-major. I've tried reasoning with this fellow ], but have since given up and moved all the non-BCS conferences that met his asinine, undeterminable definitions into the "Major" category, only to have him move several (but not other comparable conferences), including the MWC, back to mid-major.
He's also received numerous notes and warnings for his editorial antics and at times, vandalism. Not to mention he's very poor at picking up on ] ;)

Maybe it's time for an admin to act?

== Vandalism ==

No, we don't go through the whole gamut of warnings, but rather, instead of reporting the vandal at the "obvious" vandal noticeboard, you take it to the "complex" board at ]. ] <small>]</small> 18:34, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

:Thanks. Have done so. //] 18:48, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
