RE "anti-Jewish riots (Pogromy) broke out in Elizabethgrad (April 27, 28), Kiev (May 8-11), Shpola (May 9), Ananiev (May 9), Wasilkov (May 10)," That text is not related to the 1905 pogrom in any way. It is from the Jewish Encylopedia article on Alexander III. The events took place in 1881!.
