31st Special Operations Squadron was constituted the 31st Air Rescue Squadron on October 17th 1952. They rescued in combat in Southeast Asia, 1965-1966 and also operated Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) for Thirteenth Air Force, Apr 1967-Jul 1975. Disaster relief missions in the Philippines, 16-31 Jul 1990.
