Silver Creek High School is a secondary school located in San Jose, California. As of 2006, the school enrolls approximately 2,450 students each year. The high school has an incredibly wide variety of courses available.

Additions/Facilitie Problems

Silver Creek is currently constructing a new three story building of science labs and classrooms. The old Silver Creek theater is aging and rundown. There is a chance of a new Perfoming Arts building. Student population has risien, and restroom facilities haven't been expanded, nor has the gym, locker rooms, book lockers, library, or Student Services Building. Dining buildings have not been built. The athletic fields are in useable conditions but still are in need of improvement.

Gangs

Silver Creek has several gang problems. Nearly one fight a week had taken place during the 2004-2005 school year.

Legends

Students reported hearing strange nosies while in the backstage area. There have been stories that a girl had hanged herself in this area.

Misc

Three girls climbed into the ceiling over to the men's restroom. One of them slipped and was trapped in between the two walls. Her friends ditched her, and they didn't get help. Several hours later the Fire Department rescued her. She suffered form dehydration.
