Live ATM Alert is a hashtag campaign started by a group of youngsters from a Facebook community called 7PM Status on 13th November 2016.

On 8 November 2016, the Government of India announced the demonetization of all ₹500 and ₹1,000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series. The scarcity of cash due to demonetization led to chaos outside banks and ATM's across India, which became a daily routine for millions of people waiting to withdraw cash for their daily needs. ATM's were running out of cash after a few hours of being functional, and around half the ATM's in the country were non-functional.

The Facebook page Live ATM Alert launched a campaign for crowd-sourcing locations of ATM's which were live and working. Public were asked to post the location and details of the ATM's in their vicinity which was live and dispensing cash including a hashtag #LiveATMAlert or by tagging 7PM Status in their post in Facebook or Twitter. 7PM Status would in turn collate all gathered information and broadcast it to their followers in regular intervals.

The campaign was covered in national and regional news media
