Your edit to Transistor-transistor logic

Edits shortly preceding your edit to Transistor–transistor logic were wrong on two counts. Since you edited incorrect information, I have reverted your edit as well.

The preceding edits changed "TTL inputs are the emitters of a multiple-emitter transistor" to "TTL inputs are the emitters of a Transistor-Transistor logic". The sentence is describing the internal structure of the circuit, so it does not make sense to refer to the entire circuit at the end of the sentence. Also, before the change, the wikilink was to a different article, which is a sensible and normal thing to do. After the change the link attmpts to refer to the same article that the link occurs in, which is incorrect. Jc3s5h (talk) 18:53, 6 February 2018 (UTC)

Please read the text you are trying to insert at Transistor–transistor logic.

Your text (diff) is:

TTL inputs are the emitters of a transistor-transistor logic.

However, TTL means transistor-transistor logic, so your text is equivalent to:

Transistor-transistor logic inputs are the emitters of a transistor-transistor logic.

That does not make sense. Also "a transistor-transistor logic" is incorrect English, and the link is not useful given that it occurs on the transistor-transistor logic article.

The original text is both technically correct and good English:

TTL inputs are the emitters of a multiple-emitter transistor.

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Transistor-transistor logic. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Misplaced Pages this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Misplaced Pages is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. NeilN 14:27, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
