He summarizes what is recorded in the three main sources of Islam : the Quran<ref>www.alim.org</ref>, the Hadith<ref>www.http://sunnah.com/</ref>, and the Sirah<ref>https://archive.org/details/TheLifeOfMohammedGuillaume</ref>.
He did not use one of the many standard English translations of the Quran but what he calls his "Simple Koran"<ref>https://www.politicalislam.com/product/a-simple-koran/</ref> in which he reorganised the text according to revealation order<ref>http://tanzil.net/docs/revelation_order</ref> which is a standard widely known and used by Islamic scholars to determine how later verses abrogate earlier verses. This text<ref>http://cspipublishing.com/statistical/TrilogyStats/Koran/Koran_Text.pdf</ref> can be compared with any English Koran in revealation order. The best-known translation in a Western language is Alfred Guillaume's 1955 English translation, but some have questioned the reliability of this translation In it Guillaume combined ibn Hisham and those materials in al-Tabari cited as ibn Isḥaq's whenever they differed or added to ibn Hisham, believing that in so doing he was restoring a lost work The extracts from al-Tabari are clearly marked, although sometimes it is difficult to distinguish them from the main text only a capital "T" is used. This led to a 1989 reissue of Giliiaume The translator used Ibn Hisham's abridgement and also included many additions and variants found in the writings of early authors. as such Warner is using the best available English translation of the Sira.

For his analysis of the Koran Warner says "It is an easy task to reconstruct the Koran of Mohammed’s day, the historical Koran. Take the Koran and rearrange the pages of the chapters in the proper chronological order in a line on a table, since the time order of the chapters is well known. Then take the pages of the Sira (Mohammed’s biography) and lay them out in a line beneath the Koran. It will be seen that the Sira and the Koran fit together like a key in a lock. The Koran is the warp and the Sira is the woof that forms a single fabric, the historical Koran. If these two are integrated into one text, the historical Koran is reconstructed.
When this reconstruction is done, the Koran becomes the epic story of the rise and triumph of Islam over all of the native Arab culture. The historical Koran is straightforward and not confusing at all. Just as in Mohammed’s day, anyone can understand it."<ref>http://cspipublishing.com/statistical/pdf/Statistical_Islam.pdf</ref><ref>http://cspipublishing.com/statistical/TrilogyStats/The_Relative_Sizes_of_the_Trilogy_Texts.html</ref>

Bill French (born 1941, United States), known under his pseudonym as Bill Warner, is an anti-Islam writer and the founder of Center for the Study of Political Islam. He is cited by the Southern Poverty Law Center as one of the top 10 Anti-Muslim members A former Tennessee State University physics professor, he is described as "using math to prove Islam is evil"

His publications focus on the political aspects of Islamic doctrine related to Non-Muslims (Kafirs). His books are based on the premise that Islam as a religion, and Political Islam as a recipe for how to act and implement legal regulations should be clearly delineated. Islam as a faith is an individual’s private decision and it should be treated with respect and tolerance. On the other hand, Political Islam is a collection of instructions intended for all people, and are intended to function as a mode of governance.

Biography

Warner graduated from North Carolina State University where he got his PhD. in physics and mathematics in 1968. After the September 11th Attacks, he decided to make Islamic texts more accessible to the public. He claims that he gained a knowledge of Islam by studying all the relevant Islamic texts from the time he was 30 years old.

Political Islam

In his works, Warner does not address opinions of individual Muslims concerning Non-Muslims but only the relationship between Islamic doctrine and Non-believers. He narrows his focus to the part of Islam which is related to Non-believers - Kafirs. He calls this part of Islam ”Political Islam“. Its goal, according to Warner, is to dominate over all things and the entire world should submit to its rules. Warner shows contradictions between the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam and western freedoms which are contained in innumerable documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from 1948. Bill Warner does not consider Political Islam to be compatible with the system of the western world“.

He considers Islam to be the most intricately composed political system of all time. It includes all aspects of human life – starting with food and drink, continuing with personal hygiene, clothing, family constitution, the rhythm of the day set by prayers, organisation of a state and municipalities, business, finance, war, peace, individual life and human relations, and ending with relations with Kafirs – i.e. with people who have other beliefs or are Non-believers. He think that every conceivable tool is employed in its spread or jihad. Jihad is not only violent and aggressive; conquering with sword is only one of its four aspects – the most visible and, for this reason, perhaps the least dangerous.

Events

A "Homeland Security Summit" organised by Republican gubernatiorial candidate Mae Beavers to take place at Trevecca Nazarene University in January 2018 was cancelled by the university withdrawing as a venue after the speakers, who included Warner, were described as a "who's who of Islamophobes" by the Council on American–Islamic Relations.
